Bikes purchased from Big Bear Bikes and Dalby Forest Cycle Hub receive a complimentary tune-up and safety check, approximately 6-8 weeks after purchase to maintain optimal performance.

All bikes benefit from regular workshop attention to keep them running reliably and safely, and to avoid large, unexpected bills. Most people should service their bike once a year, however, if you ride regularly that might need to increase to twice a year.

At Big Bear Bikes in Pickering, we can service and repair most makes or models of bikes. Please check with us first, as surprisingly some bike companies can be uncooperative with the supply of information or parts. Our team are all qualified to the highest industry standard called 'Cytech' and with years of professional cycle workshop experience. We keep a large stock of parts and accessories to help faster turn around times.

For routine services see our pricing below and if you have any questions please call, or email us, or just drop in to the store to discuss your needs.  In our digital world, bikes are analogue machines, and we much prefer to first talk through exactly what work you would like doing and quote accurately.

Please note the pricing below covers labour only.  We only work on reasonably clean bikes and to help we have a free-of-charge bike wash in our car park for customers, which is quick and easy to use.  Our standard, bike washing charge is £15.
